Do Singaporeans need a visa for Italy?

The answer is no—Singapore passport holders can travel to Italy (and all Schengen countries) without a visa for short stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. This applies if you’re visiting for tourism, business, or family visits.
However, if you plan to work, study, or stay longer than 90 days, you’ll need to apply for the appropriate Italian visa or residence permit.
Even though no visa is required, Italian border officers may still ask for:
• A valid Singapore passport (at least 3 months beyond your stay).
• Proof of accommodation and return flight.
• Proof of sufficient funds.
• Travel insurance covering your entire stay.
