The difference between single-entry, double-entry, and multiple-entry Schengen visas is all about how many times you can enter the Schengen Area during your visa’s validity.
Here’s what each means 👇
🚪 Single-Entry Visa
You can enter the Schengen Area only once.
Once you leave — even for a day — your visa cannot be used again, even if it’s still valid.
🧳 Example: You fly from Singapore to France and back. You can’t re-enter Europe unless you apply again.
🔁 Double-Entry Visa
You can enter the Schengen Area twice within the validity period.
After using both entries, the visa expires automatically.
🧳 Example: You visit France, return to Singapore, then go to Spain a month later — that’s your second and final entry.
🌍 Multiple-Entry Visa
You can enter and exit the Schengen Area as many times as you like, as long as your visa is valid and you don’t exceed 90 days within 180 days.
🧳 Example: Perfect for frequent travelers who often visit Europe for business or leisure.
✨ At Outbound Singapore, we’ll help you choose the right entry type based on your travel needs — so you get the flexibility you need without overpaying or risking misuse.
